Today (May 26, 2020) marks 15 years of Bunty Aur Babli and it looks like it has left Amitabh Bachchan nostalgic. The movie featured son Abhishek Bachchan along with Rani Mukerji in the lead role. It also happened to be the first film that featured the father-son duo together.

Time flies by soon and now that it is over a decade to the film, Big B  went in throwback mode. Reminiscing the movie and the stage performances on the occasion of 15 years of Bunty Aur Babli, Bachchan took to twitter to write something. He wrote, ‘T 3543 – 15 years .. “Bunty Aur Babli ” … my first film with Abhishek .. such fun .. and what a team .. !! .. and ‘kajaraare .. on all our stage shows .. yoo hooo ..’

Along with the tweet, Bachchan also went on to share two photos, one of the posted, and another with Abhishek and Aishwarya. The film also had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for a special song, and even after all these years, it continues to be a hit. None the less, Bachchan mentioned about all the fun they had, making fans rather nostalgic.

The movie is indeed a fun watch of how a couple (Abhishek and Rani) dupes people off their money but gets caught by an office (Amitabh) eventually. What follows is rather interesting and if you haven’t watched the movie yet, you might want to since a sequel to the film is in the making.

Directed by Shaad Ali, an official announcement about the movie has come through some time back. The sequel will feature two couples – Saif Ali Khan and Rani, and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Shalini Pandey. However, the lockdown has left everyone with many questions about the release of the film.
