2020 has not been a very great year for Bollywood as it has lost many veterans in various fields of art. Yesterday, happened to come another heartbreaking news as Sholay actor Jagdeep passed away. And soon enough, many have taken to social media to pay a tribute to veteran actor Jagdeep.
Among the so many posts, singer Adnan Sami’s posts seemed to have caught our attention for it is gold. As a tribute to veteran actor Jagdeep, he went on to share a video with him singing ‘Life Kara De’ along with some funny on-screen moments of the actor.
The video has everyone praising the veteran actor and remembering him with a lot of love. While Adnan shared the video, he also gave due credits to the fan who made it. The fan-made video was captioned, ‘Heaven won’t have a dull moment. R.I.P Jagdeep Saab. Tatkal Quota.’

Meanwhile, Adnan also took to social media to grieve the veteran actor’s loss with an emotional note yesterday. He wrote, “I am so shattered by the news just now that our beloved legendary Jagdeep Sahib has passed away. I have so many childhood memories of his genius whilst growing up. He was such an incredible actor with the most impeccable timing & unique comedic persona. He was an original!!”
Apart from Sholay, the actor is also known for his role in Andaz Apna Apna co-starring the likes of Salman, Aamir, and others. His real name was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri and he is the father of actor Jaaved Jaaferi and TV producer Naved Jaffrey.
Jagdeep passed away at the age of 81 due to old age health-related problems. May his soul rest in peace.
