Ayushmann Khurrana’s filmography is as impressive as it gets with upcoming film with Abhishek

Ayushmann Khurrana’s filmography is one that should be the holy grail for all the newcomers in Bollywood. He started off with Vicky Donor, his last film was Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. While both the films brought about a new perspective with them, it was Khurrana who pulled it off.

The last couple of performances from the actor have proved just what a bankable actor he is. However, with Ayushmann Khurrana’s filmography, he has also proven that he is an absolute star. With Filmfare Awards and a National Award to his credit, he has come a long way and has a long one ahead.

While the actor has been doing great work, it looks like there will be no stopping him. An announcement about his collaboration with Abhishek Kapoor has created a lot of buzz. He will take on the role of a cross-functional athlete and while that is not something new, the duo promise to show what has never been seen.

Kapoor, while talking about the film had some insight to give. He said: Ayushmann and I are both known for a certain kind of cinema and this film is definitely a special one for both of us.

Meanwhile, Khurrana said: The story has all the trappings to take audiences through a ride of emotions and it is a total family entertainer. It is a beautiful, progressive love story that will also touch your hearts. He also went on to highlight how Kapoor has an active voice in cinema today.

While it is true that with films like Article 15, Badhai Ho, among others, Ayushmann has created a niche for himself, he has also done so much more. With this yet to be titled film as an addition to Ayushmann Khurrana’s filmography, it sure has us excited.

In addition, for someone like Kapoor, who has given us Kai Po Che and Rock On, we couldn’t have asked for a better collaboration. With two people doing excellent work in their respective professions, this is much awaited.
