The industry has lost another gem of an actor as the reports about the demise of actor Rajiv Kapoor hit us today afternoon. Kapoor, who is an occasional actor, continued to be in the limelight as a part of the Kapoor family. The actor was 58 and soon after the news came out, condolences for the actor have been pouring in.
Mourning the demise of actor Rajiv Kapoor are friends and family from across the industry. Among the first few people to share the same was sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor. Sharing a photo of the actor, she wrote ‘RIP’. Many dropped in comments on the post, sending their condolences as well. Reportedly, Kapoor was not keeping well and died of a massive heart attack.
A handful of people also took to Twitter as they shared their messages for their beloved Chimpu uncle. Some of the names include Tehseen Poonawalla, Salman Khurshid, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and others.

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared an adorable black and white photo, also featuring late actor Rishi Kapoor. She wrote ‘Broken but strong’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor, among others, also dropped a comment on the post.
The past year has already been tough for the Kapoor family as they lost Rishi Kapoor and Ritu Kapoor. And now, with the demise of Rajiv Kapoor, this has only made things harder. In fact, Kapoor was snapped at the Kapoor family Christmas lunch in 2020 and was not very active at gatherings.
Rajiv made his debut in 1983 with Ek Jaan Hain Hum. He took on the lead role in Ram Teri Ganga Maili back in 1985. Following that, he is well known for a handful of films like Hum To Chale Pardes, Zabardast, and more. The actor last worked in Zimmedaar in 1990 and later, worked as a producer and director.
