Bulbbul Teaser: Anushka Sharma treats fans with a glimpse of Netflix film

Anushka Sharma has been gearing up for her OTT releases for a while now. Her first web series, Paatal Lok, turned out to be a fine watch. And now, she shared the first look of her next production, a Netflix film, Bulbbul. The movie is said to be a horror-thriller, and she shared the Bulbbul teaser on social media today.

Her production is called Clean Slate Films and after Bulbbul, she has another one coming on Netflix. The Bulbbul teaser has been received well by the fans and it sees a girl prancing over the tress. However, something that catches our attention is the red moon, giving out major thriller vibes. The story of the film revolves around Satya and his brother’s child bride, whose name is Bulbul.

We will see how after his return from school in England, Satya discovers that his brother abandoned his wife. However, while she went away to help the people of the village, the village is being haunted by a woman, and Satya is on the journey to find the truth.

Sharing the teaser, Anushka wrote, “Here’s your first look at #Bulbbul, a fantastic tale about self-discovery, and justice, wrapped in lore, mystery and intrigue, coming soon on @netflix_in. Can’t wait to share more!”

Bulbbul will feature Avinash Tiwary, Tripti Dimri, Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chattopadhyay in pivotal roles. Along with the teaser, the actress also revealed the release date of the film – June 24.

Directed by Anvita Dutt, Bulbbul is the mystery of an Indian fable that is set in 20th century Bengal. It will trace the journey of Bulbbul and how she emerges stronger with the shadow of a chudail looming over her.
