Bollywood has been embroiled in multiple controversies, but the recent issue about drugs in Bollywood has been a constant conversation. Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, the drug probe has been in the news, but not many have spoken up. And now, Akshay Kumar’s video seems to have started another argument on Twitter, among others.
With the teaser of Bell Bottom having released today, Twitter seems to find his video not just late, but also a promotional stint. Among other things that have caught the attention is how it screams ‘not all actors.’ (if you know, you know!) None the less, there is more that he adds in this ‘Direct dil se’ video that does not feel all of it after all.

Akshay talks about how the stars are created by the audiences, among other things he highlighted. While he tries to make a point about how their anger in light of recent events will be taken by them, however, he adds more. He speaks about the drug issue, while also talking about the death of SSR. That’s when he speaks about Bollywood and the moment to introspect it has given everyone.
However, the problem here is that it looks more than what is set out for. With the talks about upcoming film Bell Bottom all around, it felt promotional. None the less, Akshay Kumar’s video does seem to make a point, one about how Bollywood could do just about anything for things to work. Now, is that an allegation, definitely no, but it also puts out more things worth introspecting.
At a time when SSR’s probe or the ongoing Bollywood drug probe is making more headlines than other issues, this video just proves the point of how showbiz works. Or, does it? Twitter stands strong with its stand on what it feels, what do you?
