Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives trailer is all things cringe but also reeks of a guilty pleasure watch

Netflix dropped another bomb with the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives trailer. However, was it just that or there’s so much more to it? The series features Maheep Kapoor (Sanjay Kapoor’s wife), Seema Khan (Sohail Khan’s wife), Bhavana Pandey (Chunky Pandey’s wife), and Neelam Kothari (Samir Soni’s wife).

While it is absolutely no surprise by now what the series deals with, it is much more than just that. For starters, if you haven’t seen the trailer just yet, you might want to give it a look. After almost 2 days, as I had a look at it, at it did make me go wondering just why? Do we even need this show? While my reasons for not wanting it were different earlier, they changed by the end of it. Who says everyone has it easy? Ask these women why it is not as they discuss their problems in a ‘Rolls-Royce!’

Check out the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives trailer here:

While it took me a minute to finally sit down and watch this through, it seemed fun! Despite a constant realisation of just how ‘poor problems’ I have, the trailer had me laughing here and there. Now, what makes things interesting is this one is not cringey like Indian Matchmaking, but cringey like ‘it’s ridiculour!’ None the less, through and through, it is fun to watch this through and laugh some (at myself and them).

The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives trailer is so much more about glamour, they also have Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri in a cameo. It is these little things that make many want to look at the series closely once it is released. Meanwhile, one has to admit that this feels like something many would indulge in, as a guilty pleasure, if not otherwise. You know how we watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S for the ‘xyz’ time and feel guilty, probably that kind of guilty!
