Happy Birthday Nayanthara: Must watch movies from the diva to give you a head start on regional films

Nayanthara is not known as the Lady Superstar down South just for anything. The lady who became an actor by chance in 2003, when she agreed to do just 1 film for the director Sathyan Anthikkad, named Manassinakkare. It was there on, that she became a vouched for star. In her 17-year-long career, Nayanthara has delivered some power-packed performances and has also done versatile roles. And when we write a Happy Birthday Nayanthara, we thought we must absolutely acknowledge her work.

While South cinema continues to be emerging, it is indeed quality cinema, something that has been proven time and again. The movie explores the bond of a mother and son, not related by blood and Nayanthara, plays the role of Gauri, the ladylove to the son in the equation. The movie is sure to bring a smile to one’s face and is a feel-good watch!

An AK Sajan directorial, Puthiya Niyamam is an interesting watch in the thriller genre. With Mammootty and Nayanthara as the leads, there is a lot that the film highlights. In present times, when the genre is thriving, the movie comes off as a strong watch.

Bodyguard

We all know about the Salman Khan starrer film, but the original one was a Malayalam one. Feautirng Dileep and Nayanthara, the movie is helmed by Siddique, and is a romantic drama. While we all know the base plot of the movie, Nayanthara’s performances is sure to win you over with this one.
