Khaali Peeli trailer: Ananya and Ishaan take a mad ride; Jaideep Ahlawat catches our attention

Featuring Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter, the Khaali Peeli trailer released today. While we did get a glimpse of what is in store from the teaser, the trailer just got interesting. While the name of the film does give away what the plot is about, it barely gets into the details. And well, that is what gives us all a reason to watch out for this one.

Among other things, it sees Jaideep Ahlawat turn the bad guy, and well, we sure want more of him. Ever since his stint in Paatal Lok, one cannot help but want to see him in more films, doing quality work. And this is exactly that. While the film is supposed to be full of ‘dhamaal,’ it also promises to have its own moments.

Check out the Khaali Peeli trailer here:

As the Khaali Peeli trailer sets out to make it, this is a made ride that ‘ek ladka’ and ‘ek ladki’ get onto. While what we see has little to do with what is believable, this one is more like a no-brainer. Hence, it is best if we don’t let our thinking hats interfere with the process of simply enjoying this film, for what it is.

This looks like an absolute desi entertainer and that is what the makers have set out to make it. Given the current times, we don’t need anything more than a good laugh, and the Khaali Peeli trailer gives us that. While the movie is a massy pick here, there is no depth that one needs to look out for. And that seems to work great with us for now!

None the less, the movie does feature two star kids, and it is likely to receive quite the backlash after all. With everything that is going on right now, we hope the film gets its due. Khaali Peeli will be releasing on Zee Plex on October 2, 2020.
