Pooja Bhatt advices Mumbai Police to wear a helmet on their segway

The Coronavirus outbreak in India has been multiplying manifold and has now become a cause of worry. And, Maharashtra has been hit the worst. Hence, the Mumbai Police will now be patrolling at Marine Drive and other promenades. In order to facilitate the same, Mumbai has newly launched the self-balancing scooters called segways.

The official account of Mumbai Police took to social media to share the update regarding the same. The tweet had a video of what went into the launch of the segways today. Along with it, the caption read, “Home Minister @AnilDeshmukhNCP flagged off the first batch of Freego Self Balancing Scooters for Mumbai Police at Nariman Point. These will be deployed along all promenades in the city for crowd management & patrolling purposes. #SafetyFirst.”

And now, it has grabbed the attention of actress Pooja Bhatt. She seemed to have expressed her concern regarding the safety involved. Pooja replied to the above tweet and spoke about her concerns. The actress wrote, ‘all contractors ensure the smoothness of promenades so that no accidents occur.’

While expressing her concern regarding road safety, she also highlighted the need for helmets. She expressed her fear about it and added how an accident could be rather fatal. She wrote, ‘Also, shouldn’t the officers using these be wearing helmets? Accidents on these could be fatal’.
