Ranbir Kapoor’s video with Alia from Rishi Kapoor’s prayer meet goes viral

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor left for heavenly abode on April 30 due to cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer back in 2018 and underwent treatment in New York for about a year. However, the actor was still in remission and passed away hours after being admitted to the ICU. Ranbir Kapoor’s video from his 13th-day prayer meet has been doing the rounds on the internet.

Ranbir was accompanied by girlfriend Alia Bhatt and the video sees them driving in together. Both of them had masks and gloves on given the ongoing lockdown. The reason for Ranbir Kapoor’s video going viral is him expressing his concern for the paparazzi. The video sees Ranbir telling the paps to take care and also asks them if everything is good.

In Ranbir Kapoor’s video, we see how the paps tell him that they are out on request on being asked if it is allowed. This is a sweet gesture of the actor given the tough times the Kapoor family is dealing with right now. Also attending the 13th-day prayer meet of the veteran were the likes of Shweta Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan, and others.

A photo of Ranbir and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has also been doing the rounds on the internet as shared by the latter. Riddhima had captioned the photo saying, ‘Your legacy will live on forever … We love you.’ Apart from Ranbir Kapoor’s video, photos from the prayer meet have also been doing the rounds on the internet.

Earlier, Neetu Kapoor had penned a heartfelt note for the late actor. She wrote, “He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents. Family, friends, food and films remained his focus and everyone who met him during this time was amazed at how he did not let his illness get the better of him.”
