Rising actors of 2020 we wish to see more of in the year to come

2020 has been a year of great content and while we've seen so much this past year, here are some actors we sure would love to see more of.

All through the year, we’ve seen some of the best shows and films on OTT, and we hope it continues. Talk about some of the rising actors from 2020, and the list might fall short on space. None the less, we did manage to curate a quick list, and we bet fans might have more to add.

Before we leave anyone disappointed, let us have a look at who we got in store. According to us, they sure were the rising actors from 2020, and we wish to see them often.

Have a look at it right here:

Tripti Dimri

We all saw her in Bulbbul and oh, what a treat she has been. We also saw Avinash with her, who did an equally amazing job, but she shined and how. She is rightly suited for this list of rising actors from 2020 and how.

Pratik Gandhi

The Scam 1992 actor sure took the internet and the viewers by storm. While he has been around for a while, this happened to be his calling. For a theatre actor, he sure knows his way around his work. We wouldn’t have found a better fit than him for Harshad Mehta, and we can’t wait for what he has in store next.

Rohit Saraf

Talk about rising actors from 2020, and Saraf cannot be missed out from the list. He played two such varied roles in Ludo and Mismatched, yet, he totally had us in awe. Some of us knew it back in The Sky Is Pink itself just how much is he going to have us drool over him, but Mismatched proved it further.

Piyanshu Panyuli

This actor is yet another gem of a find if you ask us. Mirzapur turned out to be quite the revelation for us as far as his role is concerned. He played Robin and well, are we not in love with him already. While it is true that Mirzapur 2 became the subject of many memes, his dialogue ‘Yeh Bhi Theek Hai’ is also a popular one.

Jaideep Ahlawat

Paatal Lok was yet another path-breaking show that we were given in 2020. And so, Jaideep was one of the rising actors of 2020, and deservingly so. He played Hathi Ram Chaudhary and he is one of the reasons we were gripped by the show until the end. While it was his best, we can’t forget, we do wish to see more of him in mainstream cinema as well.

Rasika Dugal

We’ve seen her pull off so many roles this year, and even earlier that we are in awe of her. She has managed to make things grander with just her presence. This year has been so much of web for the actress that we fall in love with her a little more every single time. She’s been around for a while, but thanks to the webspace, we saw more of her.

Divyendu Sharma

Another find from Mirzapur, he had more than just that show to prove his acting prowess. He was also seen in ALT Balaji’s Bhichoo Ka Khel, which was a hit performance as well. Be it season 1 or season 2, Divyendu has managed to stand out and how. Though he isn’t one of the rising actors from 2020 alone, he only took it a notch higher this last year.

Abhishek Banerjee

Another from Paatal Lok, did a great job. Though it was a role that could’ve gone in the passing, the actor made a huge difference. And now, all we hope is to see him on the screens more often, doing more cinema, and shows.

Ritwik Bhowmik

Bandish Bandits has been one of the most beautiful shows this year, and there is no doubting it. He has been a part of other projects as well, but this was his calling. With this show, he has become one of the rising actors of 2020, and surely one we look forward to.
