Sadak 2 trailer takes the spotlight as Youtube ‘dislikes’ on Alia Bhatt starrer multiply by the hour

Sadak 2 has been one of the much-awaited films for a while now. However, things took a rather unpleasant turn when the trailer came out yesterday. Featuring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Pooja Bhatt, the Sadak 2 trailer has been subjected to backlash.

What makes things rather surprising is just how netizens have gone to extreme lengths over the outrage. Apart from the fact that social media seems to be spewing hatred, Youtube dislikes are also appalling. Currently, the trailer has as many as 6 million dislikes.

In what can be called a rather surprising move, Sadak 2 trailer is the most disliked trailer on Youtube right now. In fact, the trailer is one of the most disliked videos on Youtube right now. While the dislikes have little to do with the movie, it is more about the people who’ve made it.

Check out the trailer here:

Sushant Singh Rajput fans have decided to boycott the film amid the nepotism debate that has resurfaced. However, they haven’t stopped at just that and decided to pull this campaign of dislikes on the Sadak 2 trailer.

While there is absolutely no right and wrong here, it might seem to be fair to many. The hatred stems from two major reasons. Firstly, there seems to be a connection between Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and Mahesh Bhatt. Secondly, since the film features a star kid, Alia Bhatt, those against nepotism have raised their voice in this manner.

Even though netizens and fans of SSR at large are supporting a cause they stand for, the method might be unruly. As has been pointed out earlier, the film, and even the Sadak 2 trailer, is more than just the Bhatts. The movie also features Aditya Roy Kapur, and other actors in supporting roles, and they, must not suffer.

While all this seems to be unfair, efforts to promote up and coming artists is a rather welcome move. The same fans managed to make SSR’s last film, Dil Bechara’s trailer one of the most liked, and that is when this matters.
