Saif Ali Khan turns 50: Films from the actor that are proof of his versatility

One might often feel that the Khans rule Bollywood, but do they really? As Saif Ali Khan turns 50 today, we decided to list down some films that always make us fall in love with the actor. While they are the finest films, his acting is what has made these better.

On the actor’s birthday today, we have listed down a couple of movies and we feel they could also make for a great watch list. It is a Sunday and there is no better day to recall some of the best films that Bollywood has ever made.

Here are films to celebrate as Saif Ali Khan turns 50:

Tanhaji (2020)

This movie did more than just wonders at the box office. While it is undoubtedly the best film from this year, the acting from Saif wins hearts. For those who are yet to see the movie, they must watch it right now.

Love Aaj Kal (2009)

If Bollywood is the place where cliche love stories are born, this is everything romantic in not the most cliched ways. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, and deserves a mention. Rishi Kapoor’s presence is the perfect cherry on the cake for this one. Saif in two different avatars, is also a great watch. While the actor has done a couple of films on similar lines, we might as well mention Salaam Namaste and Hum Tum.

Race (2008)

Talk about the perfect list of films as Saif Ali Khan turns 50, you cannot miss this one. We have seen two more parts of the film, but the original remains the best. If you find yourself flipping channels, and find this film playing, most of us are likely to stop by on this one!

Omkara (2006)

And yet another stunner from the actor is this film. How he paved the way for a character like Ishwar ‘Langda’ Tyagi is par genius, a role that everyone remembers and celebrates all the way. Till date, this one is an absolute genius from him.

Parineeta (2005)

Talk about the finest performances as Saif Ali Khan turns 50, and this film is a must mention. While the actor took his chances at taking up a different role altogether, it sure hit all the right chords. This film continues to be so close to home, for so many of us.

Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

Dil Chahta Hai is close to two decades old, and Saif continues to win hearts with this one even today. This is a film that started it all, for a lot of us. Friendships go a long way, and this movie is a celebration of it, and while Aamir Khan has a lot of our attention, we all fell in love with Saif as much.

So this was us to celebrate one of the finest Khans! Here’s sending out birthday wishes as Saif Ali Khan turns 50!
