Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara to premiere digitally on July 24

Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara has been creating a lot of buzz for various reasons. Chhichhore happened to be Sushant’s last film. However, it is the Sanjana Sanghi co-starrer Dil Bechara that he last shot for. The movie was supposed to release on May 8 2020, however, the Coronavirus outbreak caused a delay.

And now, ever since Sushant’s demise on June 14, 2020, fans have been demanding that the movie release in theatres. The demands stem from the fact that Dil Bechara will be Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film. Hence, he deserves to get a respectful goodbye from the screen.

However, as per the announcement, the movie will not release on Disney + Hotstar and will premiere on July 24. The movie is a Hindi remake of The Fault In Our stars, which in turn, was a movie adaptation of a book by the same name. Netizens have reacted with a mixed response about the news.

While on one hand, fans are extremely elated about the fact that they will get to see the actor’s last film, on the other, some are disappointed. Since this is Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film, fans were keen on viewing it on the big screens and were ready to wait.

However, as it turns out, the decision has now been taken. None the less, fans have been sending out requests and have taken to Twitter to express their concerns. It does go without saying that everyone is a tad bit more excited about the film than a regular one.

See Sanjana Sanghi’s note here:

Earlier today, Sanjana took to social media to pen a heartfelt note about the release. She went on to write, “Let NOT make it about the size of the screen we get to watch this labour of love on, his last, and in my humble belief, his finest. Let’s instead make it about the size of our hearts, that we can make as big as we wish to, and fill up with as much love, joy and pride as we want.”
