Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat’s remark on ripped jeans had everyone fuming. And now, the latest to speak up for the cause is writer-filmmaker Tahira Kashyap. She took a dig at him as she shared a photo of hers, but did not go the traditional way for it. Tahira posed in a bikini in the post she shared.

As Tahira Kashyap posed in a bikini she also added a remark, which has everyone hailing her. She wrote, ‘Atleast not wearing ripped jeans’. She also added a caption and wrote, ”bald, bad***, and in a bikini.” Well, while Tahira took a dig on the ripped jeans comment, many came out in her support.

Among people who lauded her are the likes of Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Quresh, Ekta Kapoor, and others. It looks like this is a cause that many people are going to stand up for, as they have been for a while now.

Tahira’s photo in a bikini has everyone lauding her:

Before Tahira’s photo in a bikini took over, actress and Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan too, spoke about the same. She went on to say how that these are not comments that a CM should make. While talking to ANI, she said: Such statements don’t befit a CM. It’s a bad mindset and encourages crimes against women.

Among other people, Navya Naveli, Bachchan’s granddaughter, too voiced her opinion. She wrote on Instagram how people need to change their minds before making such remarks. She said: Change your mentality before changing our clothes because the only shocking thing here is the message comments like this send to society.

Well, Tahira’s photo in a bikini sure has us rooting for her all the way. Nonetheless, what does have us angry is how such remarks are thrown around way too casually. This is not the first time, and we wonder if it will be the last either? They keep receiving flak for the comments they make, and yet, barely anything is done about it.
