The Girl On The Train teaser: Finally a Bollywood film on Netflix that looks promising

Parineeti Chopra sure seems to have us in intrigue with the teaser of the movie, The Girl On The Train.

The Girl On The Train, as we all know, is a book that sure manages to keep us on the edge. And well, this film on Netflix seems to be no less. With what looks like a murder mystery unfolding itself, the journey is what will lead this girl to the truth. The Girl On The Train teaser is out now, and the wait sure seems a little too much.

With Bollywood films seemingly getting only repetitive, this one has our attention just fine. After seeing films like Coolie No.1, Laxmmi, among others, this feels like a fresh breeze. Although we wouldn’t run our hopes high for it is a book adaptation after all, but it still feels like quite a good call. The movie features Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwary. With The Girl On The Train teaser out now, we sure can’t wait for February 26.

The movie is based on Paula Hawkin’s novel from back in 2015 and goes by the same name. This is a second adaptation of the film as it was also adapted in Hollywood, featuring Emily Blunt.

OTT as a platform has definitely been growing manifold, but somehow, the Bollywood content has been lacking behind. None the less, we are hoping that it changes with this movie. Earlier, Parineeti had mentioned just how shooting for the movie has been, and the teaser is proof enough of every word she mentioned earlier.

With a woman taking the centre stage once again, a lot of changes also follow. Though The Girl On The Train teaser only gives us glimpses, it does so convincingly. For a strong believer of books always being better, I’d be glad if a Bollywood movie makes me feel otherwise. Nonetheless, there is still a lot to look out for, and this is just the beginning for the movie.
