The Intern first look: Twitter can’t keep calm as Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan reunite

The Intern's first look is now out on social media and Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan are all set to reunite. Read more on Platocast.

Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in Piku and we all know how it went. The duo is all set to reunite on screens as Deepika shared The Intern’s first look. A Hindi adaptation of a Hollywood film by the same name, the update has fans gushing over it.

The Intern first look saw silhouettes of Deepika and Big. Deepika wrote, in her post how she feels honoured to collaborate with her most special co-star. As for Big B, he shared The Intern first look poster and wrote some kind things himself. With the poster, the team welcomed Big B on board. Meanwhile, Big B too, had some kind words to say as he wrote ‘One more time..’

And well, more than just that, fans are excited to get a chance to see the two on screens once again. Ever since Piku, we have all been waiting for this collaboration to happen. While there were reports that Big B may step in long ago, the feat has now been sealed.

Check out The Intern’s first look here:

Check out some tweets as the internet sure can’t keep calm as Deepika and Big B are back:

Originally, The Intern was supposed to star late Rishi Kapoor along with DP. However, there was a need for a replacement, and hence, Big B stepped in. The Hollywood flick starred Anne Hathway and Robert De Niro in lead roles. If you ask us, this is an absolute casting coup with makers bringing Deepika and Big B back. Directed by Nancy Meyers, the original movie did receive a lot of love and continues to be celebrated. When the announcement about a remake first came in, fans couldn’t keep calm. While no one could play Anne’s role better, Big B is an equally perfect cast. Nonetheless, as we speak about the movie, we miss the late Rishi Kapoor already.
