Tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput: Sonchiriya co star Bhumi Pednekar pledges to feed 550 families

Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on June 14, 2020, and his friends and family continue to remember him with kind gestures. It was recently that Mukesh Chhabra paid a heartfelt tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput with a video tracing his journey so far. And today, it is Bhumi Pednekar, who has made an effort to do something as a tribute to the actor.

The Sonchiriya actress took to social media as she shared a post stating how she has pledged to feed 550 families. In fact, she has partnered with director Abhishek Kapoor’s wife, Pragya’s foundation for the same. As soon as she shared the post, she received loads of love from the fans and rightly so.

As a tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi has taken this novel step and also wrote some kind words. Sharing a post on social media, she wrote, “I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through the Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let us show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever.”

On the work front, Sushant was last seen in Chhicchore and his last film, Dil Bechara will witness a digital release. In fact, Bhumi had shared a post when the announcement came in on social media as well. Bhumi’s tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput is a gesture that many appreciate and comments on the post are proof of the same.

Earlier too, she had written some kind words for the actor upon receiving the shocking news. Sharing a post, she wrote, “Rest in Peace my friend…Shocked and Heartbroken…Still can’t believe it…To star gazing and our endless chats…am going to spot you twinkling bright up there with the rest cause you are and will always be a star my dearest SSR.”
