Twitterverse is happiest as Anushka and Virat welcome baby girl

It was last year that the announcement about Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli becoming parents was first made. The two took to their social media post to announce the same. And well, in what looks like quite the happy news of 2021, the couple is now proud parents to a baby girl. As Anushka and Virat welcome their baby girl, Twitter is definitely the happiest place to be. Lovingly knowns as Virushka, their fans are in a celebratory mood after all!

Love and adulation has been pouring in for the stars, and some memes too! (of course) Twitter has made it a point to turn this occasion into quite the celebration and beautifully so. Meanwhile, cricketers, as well as actors, have been sending in their best wishes to the newly turned parents. Virat wrote, ”We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start with this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”

What has caught our attention is all the love that has been pouring in and how today is quite the celebration. Fans of the actress as well as the Indian skipper seem to be in awe of the two already. Virat and Anushka’s baby girl is named Anvi (coming from parts of the duo’s name). Fans of cricket are also glad that the little bundle of joy shares her birthday with legendary Dravid. As Virushka become parents, it is indeed time to witness fans rejoice!

Meanwhile, it is quite the day for the Indian Cricket Team as well, as they pulled off a tough match against Australia. A lot is also being spoken about it, but the Sydney Test is now for later. For now, we congratulate Anushka and Virat on welcoming their baby girl!
