Watchlist for the week: Ludo to Chhalaang, films and shows that might interest you

A new week calls for a new watchlist for the week and so here we are. With some new films releasing this week, there are also a few other recent releases of interest. While the genre is as varied as it gets, we thought of putting one of each kind together, therefore making it a complete list after all.

With the Coronavirus outbreak keeping most of us at home, we can all use new films and shows our way. While it is Sunday already and the dreadful Mondays are just a few hours away, this list might cheer you up. We can always use good content and shows/films to look forward to and make the week better, isn’t it?

Have a look at what could be your possible watchlist for the week:

Laxmii

Despite all the mixed reviews to the trailer, there is a little more to the movie that one might see. Though we are not hoping for a lot of new things coming our way with this film, we do hope it does minimal justice to a community it is standing up for. While there are several reasons that can work against the Akshay Kumar starrer, it does deserve a watch.

Instant Family

One of the reasons that this movie has made it to this list is because it is sure to leave you overwhelmed. While one might see some drama spew, the story of three children moving from foster home to a family who wishes to adopt them is heartwarming. While it is quite the journey, this film should definitely be on your watchlist for the week.

This Is Us (Season 5)

When it first started, it sure was the absolutely most beautiful shows to have existed. While it did have some fans lost for a while, this season is more relevant. And if nothing, that is what makes the show a success already. While it is sure a roller coaster ride, one that it has always been, it can also be quite the wave of fresh air!

Chhalaang

Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar Rao are a deadly combo and they are back, along with Nushrat Bharucha. A black comedy is what this is touted to be, the trailer was the subject of some absolutely hilarious memes. It is slated for a release on November 13, 2020, and is going to have various layers to it. How they will unfold is what will definitely keep you hooked!

Ludo

The Anurag Basu directorial is an anthology of 4 different stories, bringing to life so many actors in a wild manner. Rajkummar fans are in for a treat with two of his films releasing this week! With an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra, among others, the trailer piqued the interest of all. While it seemed to be a little complicated to be compressed into a trailer, high hopes ride on this one!
