The face of entertainment has changed amid the ongoing lockdown. With everything moving online, we now no longer have the 70mm screens at our disposal every time we wish to see a film. And well, it looks like Netflix has done well for itself with this movement. With the announcement of 17 Netflix releases, the streaming platform has managed to win us over, yet again.
With the list of Netflix releases on its way, the OTT platform has also managed to ensure traction of new audiences (read: subscribers). Well, if one may think of it, these are just 17 Bollywood releases, each with a stellar cast, from a different genre.
What this makes us wonder, is just how much we have evolved as far as entertainment is concerned. While it all started off with radio sets and television screens, now, it has all become ‘smart; and in every sense.
While the lockdown has enabled a shift in entertainment, with the announcement of 17 Netflix releases, it has sure carved its niche. However, there is more to it and rightly so. The movies are a mix of classy and massy.
