Visakhapatnam: RPF woman cop saves man from falling under moving train

The internet is amazed after a Railway Protection Force (RPF) woman cop saved a man’s life at the Visakhapatnam railway station on February 8. A clip of the incident was posted on Twitter by the Ministry of Railways, which lauded the woman for her alert response.

In the incident, a man attempted to board a moving train from the station and slipped while trying to do so. Had the RPF woman cop not noticed and rushed to help the man, the incident would have turned fatal.

The woman constable, with the help of other cops, was quick to rush to the spot and full the passenger aside.

“Serving Humanity First: An alert RPF woman constable of Meri Saheli team at Visakhapatnam Railway station rescued a passenger falling under a moving train. The episode was caught on the body-worn camera of RPF personnel,” Ministry of Railways said in their post.

Hereโ€™s how netizens reacted:

The video soon went viral and social media users took to Twitter to thank the woman for saving the passenger’s life.

In a similar incident last week, an RPF cop helped to save the life of a disabled man after he slipped while trying to board a moving train in Maharashtra’s Panvel station.
