COVID-19 vaccines registration for all above 18 years; everyone can get their jabs from May 1 announced central government. The announcement came soon after the spike of COVID-19 cases in India on April 19. Are you ready to get your jabs? Here is how one can register to get the vaccination in phase 3: 

COVID-19 vaccine for 18 years and above

Following the government’s liberalisation of the vaccination policy, enrollment in the CoWIN website is needed for the registration for vaccination. 

The centre stated that “All vaccination (through Government of India and Other than Government of India channel) would be part of the National Vaccination Programme, and mandated to follow all protocol such as being captured on CoWIN platform, linked to AEFI reporting and all other prescribed norms.”

COVID-19 vaccines registration: People above 18 who are willing to get their shots must have to register themselves using Co-WIN 2.0 portal or even on the Aarogya Setu app. 

COVID-19 vaccines required documents 

COVID-19 vaccines registration: Soon after the registration for the shots from your mobile number on the Co-WIN 2.0 portal the required details like name, DOB, gender and so on. The applicants must also upload a copy of their ID proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card or any other. 

After the details filled in and completion of the registration, the applicant will receive a message of the confirmation message. Make sure you fill in all the details to the registration for vaccination.

Here is how to book an appointment

COVID-19 vaccines registration for above 18 years: 

Step 1: After the confirmation message received one can schedule an appointment click on the ‘schedule appointment’ option on the website. Search for the nearest centre by adding the State, District, Block and Pin Code information. 

Step-2: Next process is to click on the Vaccination Centre option to book your slots by sorting the dates and availability.

Step 3: Check with the prefered slot is available and then click on the ‘Book’ option after with the ‘Appointment Confirmation’ will be done.

Step 4: Choose the ‘confirm’ option on the website. After the verification details, the final confirmation will be sent. 

Step 5: Downloaded or save the appointment details. 

Note: One can also reschedule or cancel their slots at any time. 

Documents needed in the vaccination centre 

After the COVID-19 vaccines registration, the applicants who visit the centre must show the confirmation message along with a photo ID uploaded to the Co-WIN 2.0 website.
