The Coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire and it has left everyone worried. While the numbers have been at an all-time high, the deaths too, have been worrisome. Many Indian celebrities died due to COVID-19, and today morning, came the news of another death. Social media is flooded with the news of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away due to COVID-19 complications.

The news about actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal’s demise has left everyone in utmost shock as no one was ready for that loss. It was only recently that another actor, Amit Mistry, passed away, which also came as a shock to the world. Everyone has been pouring in condolence messages for the actor’s family, wishing them strength to deal with the tough times we are in.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit was amongst the first few people to tweet about Bikramjeet’s demise. He wrote on Twitter: Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones. Among others who posted on social media, including Vishal Dadlani, Vikram Bhatt, Rohit Bose Roy, Nakuul Mehta, and others.

Apart from people in the entertainment fraternity, Twitterverse is also in shock. In fact, so many people took to the micro-blogging platform to remember the actor. While everyone mourned the loss, many expressed concern over how the pandemic is taking on lives, and it is worrisome!

Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal was a retired Army Officer and made his debut in 2003 with Page 3. After his stint in the film, he went on to work across all mediums, including television, as well as web series. He has also worked on multiple television projects, including the likes of 24, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Dil Hi Toh Hai, and others. Kanwarpal was also been a part of Disney+ Hotstar series Special Ops.

While this seems to be a difficult time, this too shall pass!
