Twitter praises Rudra: The Edge of Darkness as Ajay Devgn to make OTT debut

Ajay Devgn is going to take on the role of a cop all over again. However, the Singham star will be seen playing Rudra in his OTT debut. Titled Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, the series will release on Disney+ Hostar. We have seen him don the role of a cop earlier and we know how much fans love it. This time around, it is going to be more intense with a spark of thrill to it.

Ajay took to his social media as he announced his OTT debut with the crime thriller series. In addition, he also went on to call it the crime thriller of the year. He wrote, ‘Happy to announce the crime thriller of the year Hotstar Specials ‘Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness’. This one’s going to be ‘killer’.’ Along with the announcement, the actor has also shared the motion poster of the series.

And now, everyone has been wondering what’s there in store. Among the other things, what has our attention is a whodunit on the way with the heroes of heroes that Devgn is.

In a statement, the actor said, “My attempt has always been to tell unique stories and work with good talent. The idea is to raise the bar of entertainment in India. The digital world excites me, and I am looking forward to working with Applause and BBC to bring this series to life on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. Rudra – The Edge of Darkness is a compelling and highly intriguing story and I can’t wait to begin this new journey!” In Ajay Devgn’s own words, this character is intense, complex, and dark.

Well, there is something about crime thrillers that have been working very well with the fans. And so to say, this announcement does have fans excited. With Ajay’s OTT debut, we are looking at yet another series with a lot to offer. Among other crime thrillers that have had our attention recently are the likes of Asur, Special OPS, and others. A bunch of stars has made their OTT debuts given how space is thriving. While it continues to give creators explore opportunities, it also is a free way for the fans.

Ever since the announcement, fans can’t seem to keep calm and Twitter is going crazy. Ajay Devgn’s OTT debut as a cop, in an action-packed film with crime, could this BE any more perfect?
