Sandeep Sharma, a right-arm medium-pace bowler who is also known as one of the star players from the Kings xi Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise is currently trending on Twitter. Wonder why? Well, Sandeep recently shared a note where he criticized the negative comments on Rihanna’s Tweet.
You all must be aware that Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman Rihanna had recently tweeted an image of protesting farmers and also wrote, “why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest”. Her tweet sparked a debate initially as Hollywood celebrities supporting the farmers’ protests and later the same celebrities were criticized for interfering in a national matter.
Several sports athletes such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Saina Nehwal, Ravi Shastri, Anil Kumble, Ajinkya Rahane, Pragyan Ojha tweeted in support of the farm laws and urged everyone to stay united during such times.
However, Indian cricketer Sandeep Sharma’s tweet is winning hearts on Twitter.
“By this logic no one should care about each other because every situation is someone’s internal affair,”
Sandeep wrote alongside a screenshot of his Instagram post where he has asked whether any outsider should be stopped from commenting on ‘persecution’ going around in other countries.
“Many people including the Indian External Affairs Ministry, have criticized the famous singer Rihanna for having supported the Indian farmers, saying it is an internal affair of India. But by that logic no one outside Germany should have criticized the persecution of Jews in Germany during the Nazi era,” Sandeep shared.
The original link to the tweet isn’t available because Sandeep Sharma deleted his tweet. Having said that, Twitteratis always have a say in everything so without wasting any time check out these reactions:

Sandeep Sharma will now be declared a better cricketer than Sachin, Kohli, Kumble etc by the Con/liberal lickspittles just like how they declared that Lata Mangeshkar is an overrated singer.

This is the most defining delivery Sandeep Sharma has ever bowled.
Unlike the likes of Sachin, Kohli, etc. he isn’t from a rich and influential family. His father is an agriculturist in Punjab. He shares farmers’ pain. Not those privileged cricketers who’ve sold their souls. https://t.co/czsxLQwwGL
