What have we learned from the Mimi trailer?
Pankaj Tripathi and Kriti Sanon take on interesting roles as they try to achieve a dream that seems far-fetched. While we know that the film deals with surrogacy, how things take a turn is what is different, and also interesting. The official description of the trailer of Mimi reads: In order to fulfill her big dreams, a wide-eyed dancer from a small town in Rajasthan becomes a surrogate mother. The circumstances that follow in the next 9 months not only change her life but also her as a person.
The trailer of Mimi shows us how this journey looks like and the circumstances that they deal with. While nothing goes as planned for Mimi, eventually, that is when so many emotions kick in. It goes on to show how nicely we can expect the female characters to be portrayed while also providing comic relief.
Who appears to be the lead in Mimi?
Kriti and Pankaj take on the leading role for this film on Netflix. While the first looks that went around saw Kriti take on the titular character, the story wouldn’t be complete without Tripathi. Meanwhile, Supriya and Manoj also play pivotal characters.
Highs and Lows of the Mimi trailer:
Well, I think I don’t want to judge this book by its cover, because it seems promising. While many a time it so happens that the film is nothing like its trailer, this one, I am hoping to be different. Just by the vibe of the trailer, I definitely want Pankaj and Kriti coming together once again. Oh, and the background score is amazing. It wasn’t until I read about it that I was sure, but it felt like A.R Rahman and it just made sense. For a trailer to make you feel as many things as Mimi does, can only mean two things. It means that either the movie will be an absolute success, or, it will tank.
There’s barely anything to not like about the trailer of Mimi so far, except they could maybe start off the idea of surrogacy in a better manner. However, that might mean contradicting the small-town image that has been created. So that, I am waiting to see.
Twitter reactions to Mimi trailer:

Entire story and plot revealed in the trailer but there will be no impact in terms of hype…. I genuinely loved #MimiTrailer…. Funny and emotional…. A large section of audience will like the trailer…. Its not easy to balance Comedy & emotion.. But one who does it is a WINNER.
