Mumbai vegetable vendor arrested for abusing stray dogs

Ahmad Shahi, a vegetable vendor from Andheri, Mumbai has been arrested for abusing more than 30 stray dogs.

In a disturbing development, a vegetable vendor name Ahmad Shahi, 68, has been arrested by the DN Nagar police, Andheri for allegedly abusing stray dogs in the area. Based on the evidence police had collected Ahmad has raped more than 30 stray dogs.

Ahmad Shahi who sells vegetables in the Juhu area would lure the dogs and cats by giving them meat late at night and raped them while they ate. Vijay Mohanani, who registered the complaint against Ahmad had requested all feeders to provide safety to animals. Vijay runs an NGO Bombay Animal Rights based in Peddar Road and has sought the strictest action against the accused.

This horrifying incident not only compromises animal safety but also questions the hideous mental state of the vegetable vendor, Ahmad. Soon after the news broke out, netizens started reacting to this gruesome act.
