You all know Gucci! It is widely popular as a brand and as a style statement too. It also made a significant impact as a brand when they donated a handsome amount to UNICEF to help increase the supply and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. However, Gucci has always been in the news for its creations. But, recently a new creation by Gucci has reached new heights.
The fashion brand launched sunglasses designed ‘upside down’ for a prize of 470 pounds. Yes, that’s right. For wearing sunglasses upside down you have to pay Rs 50,000. Gucci tried to lure the shoppers by offering free delivery within a day. But as always, shoppers being shoppers, started trolling the fashion brand. The description of the sunglasses on Gucci’s site called it an “Unconventional take on the 50s and 60s inspired cat-eye frames.”
A screenshot of the product was shared on Twitter by user Porochista Khakpour, who captioned it, “Gucci, why are we doing this.” Twitterati in no time picked up the tweet and left comments like “Excuse me mam, but I think I can explain why your vision seems off today. You put your glasses on upside down.”
Another user said, “Looking at this makes me so uncomfortable. I keep adjusting my own glasses,” while others believed that the Gucci designers had gone insane during quarantine!

It’s so bad no one’s even talking about how these “sun glasses” have zero tint to them

I wonder if Gucci ever stopped to think that just because they “could” doesn’t mean that they “should”

Gucci hasn’t commented on their design yet. According to them, it’s an “inverted design that created an ‘upside down’ effect”. Comment down your opinion on the sunglasses and tell us if this was the craziest fashion creation ever!
