Twitter reacts after Washington Sundar misses out on his maiden Test century by 4 runs

The likes of Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Siraj who got out for a duck strangled Washington Sundar on a sad 96* runs mark.

On day 3 of the 4th Test match between India and England, Team India was all out for 365. After Rishabh Pant scored a century, India was looking to increase its lead by a much greater margin. However, Indian all-rounder, Washington Sundar was one of the primary heads who kept the hopes alive for India to score big.

After Jonny Bairstow run out Axar Patel on 43, India was all dependent on Washington Sundar. Having said that, just when Washington Sundar crossed his 90s mark, India got bowled out for 365. The likes of Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Siraj who got out for a duck strangled Washington Sundar on a sad 96* runs mark. Nonetheless, his spectacular 96* runs innings has impressed the netizens and even though he couldn’t get his maiden hundred Twitter has already started celebrating it.

Even though Washington Sundar didn’t score his maiden century, he has proven his point. Now we all know that after the likes of sir Jadeja and R Ashwin, Washington Sundar is emerging as one of the fresh talented all-rounders.
